The
VISAC Creative Art Centre is excited to host "Intro to Scratch
Animation" with instructor Nyla Raney. On June 13, 14 and 15 from 6-9pm,
Nyla will guide students into creating a short, hand made film using recycled
8mm, super8 or 16mm film. Class mentorship is provided and exploration and play
is encouraged! This three day workshop is geared for ages 15 and up but
participants as young as 12 are welcome if they are interested in film making
and able to work independently (it is not suitable for young children as we use
sharp tools for cutting and diluted bleach for stripping film emulsion). For more information, please call the gallery during office hours. We look forward to seeing all the finished product during the Rossland Film Festival in October! |
