Spanning the Columbia River since its inaugural opening on July1, 1912, the “Old Bridge” is now slated for demolition due to its crumbling infrastructure and prohibitive repair costs but before the bridge vanishes from the Columbia River landscape it once helped define, the VISAC Gallery and the Trail Historical Society will acknowledge the role the “Old Bridge” played in the Trail community with a collaborative exhibition of guest artists and historical displays.

The Old Bridge Exhibition will open on Friday September 14th from 2-6pm. Historical displays of photographs and Old Bridge related item will hang or be displayed alongside guest artist interpretations of the Old Bridge in works of various mediums, i.e. watercolour, digital photography, acrylic, and collage.

The Old Bridge Exhibition will pay tribute to a heritage structure that once exemplified the Trail community as a modern industrial town of great potential and advanced growth.

Open Mon - Wed 10 - 2 and Thurs and Friday 2 - 4 pm.
