OCT 1st - Oct 21st

DIMENSIONS of ColourA mutli-artist exhibit exploring the bounds of space and hue!

During the summer VISAC Gallery & Art Centre secured granting to move forward with some much needed and anticipated upgrades. The largest part of the project being all new lighting throughout the Gallery and workspaces! "Contractors, building staff, and VISAC volunteers have been hard at work the past few months and it sure has paid off. The Gallery and VISAC programming usually starts up again in September, but because of the wonderful new renovations to the Gallery & Art Centre, we waited for the completion of the projects to open with a bang on Oct 1st!” - Kristen Renn, Gallery Director.

For our Grand Re-Opening, we are celebrating with the Opening Reception of our first exhibition of the season; Dimensions of Colour, a multi-artist exhibit exploring the bounds of space and hue.

We have some fantastic large scale art from local artists such as Brad Waring and Brian Kalbfleisch, and other adventurous artists. Those coming out for the free event can expect to delight as they themselves explore and get lost in the many layers, mediums, and scale of art in this stunning exhibit. One special element for this event will be the presence of human statues! "I, myself, am participating as an artist in this multi-artist exhibit and it’s theme, by using the human body as a canvas and for one night only will have my fleeting wearable art showcased by brave models.” -Kristen Renn

Participating artists: Brian Kalbfleisch, Sarah Elizabeth, Jamie Davies
