Adult Pottery Classes

Duration: 6 weeks ( June 28 - August 02, 2023)

Class fee: $250 for VISAC members ($270 for non-members) plus $18 cash for clay

Class fee: $160 for VISAC members ($185 for non-members) plus $18 cash for clay 

Join us for this 4 week beginner pottery class! Students will learn many techniques including pinch pots, slab construction and coil building. During the final week of class students will bring functionality and color to their pieces while learning various approaches to glazing. Be inspired and immersed in clay!

Students will learn several advanced throwing techniques such as producing larger pieces, spouts, jars with lids, bottles, trimming with a chuck as well as surface decoration techniques. Students must have taken at least two beginner wheel class or equivalent.
