Workshops at the Josie

Join visual storyteller and comic artist Erin Shuttleworth for a special youth workshop at the Josie Hotel! Participants will collaborate on a comic, make a mini zine and receive a whimsical colouring book featuring ski hills and giant mammals to take home at the end of the session.

Winter Artisan Market at the Gallery

Join the Trail Pottery Club and the VISAC Gallery for a Winter Market. Two delightful days to purchase creations from potters, artists and artisans.

The VISAC Gallery will also have their own table offering workshop signups, upcoming exhibition information and mini prints from our brand new art vending machine! All you need is a toonie to get a random piece of artwork made by local illustrator Erin Shuttleworth.

Saturday, November 18, 10am-3pm

Free to attend.

Our Friday evening hours coincide with "Kootenay Vaudeville Affair" at The Charles Bailey Theatre - make it a double date with the VISAC and Bailey by visiting both events.

Please consider bringing cash as some vendors may not have the ability to capture card payments.


Halloween Spooktacular

Our booth will be located next to the steps of the Bailey Theatre, weather permitting.

The VISAC Gallery will contribute a digital exhibition featuring work from Damian John's "Cover Up" series.

Columbia Basin Culture Tour

Tours of the gallery's permanent collection, as well as a stamp craft for all ages.

Join Patricia and Sharon from the VISAC Gallery to explore various materials and methods. Different methods for each week
