New group art show is coming this month, Metamorphosis!

VISAC's first exhibition back at the VISAC Gallery downtown since March 2020.

The VISAC Team and the Metamorphosis Artists are thrilled to welcome you to this enchanting group exhibition.

Through the continued support of our annual sponsors and a special grant from the Rossland Art Council, we were able to present this show and pay artists fees to 6 West Kootenay Artists.

We have been doing quite a few renovations to the gallery areas and VISAC studios during Covid, thanks to the support of the Special Funding to Communities from CBT by way of the Regional District and their staff.

Metamorphosis,

A juried exhibition of works past and present by 6 West Kootenay Artists.

About the Exhibition:

Each participating artist will feature 2 art pieces from their past (2-20 years ago) and 2 new artworks that were created during covid times (March 2020-now). The goal of this exhibition is to highlight the transformation each artist has gone through to become the artist they are now. This show aims to acknowledge and appreciate where the artists were and celebrate their own unique journey and development to be where they are now creatively.
